# How to Open and Close a Trade

* Go to: <https://alpha.adrena.xyz/> and connect your wallet.  \
  \
  \&#xNAN;*Please ensure that you are connected to devnet and you have devnet SOL in your wallet.*&#x20;

* Select the crypto that you want to trade.&#x20;

* Now, select the crypto you would like to trade with, a long or short position and the amount of leverage and click "Open position".&#x20;

* You have now succesfully opened a position.&#x20;

* To close a position, go to "My Dashboard" and click "close".&#x20;

* Another window will appear displaying the current state of your position. Continue by clicking "Close Position".&#x20;

* Your position is now closed.&#x20;
