# Ways to Earn Overview

There are two forms of yield on Adrena.

1. Real yield which is realised from platform fees
2. $ADX emissions

### Providing Liquidity

Users can mint $ALP to earn 70% of the platform fees. This is realised through value accrual in the $ALP token - meaning fees go back into the pool to increase the price of $ALP.

### Staking

* **$ADX**

  You can stake your $ADX on our Earn page. 20% of the platform fees are paid out to $ADX stakers. Additionally, $ADX stakers earn voting power *(see* [*Governance*](/adrena/about-adrena/governance-need.md) *and* [*Governance Shadow Token*](/adrena/technical-documentation/governance-shadow-token.md)*)* and additional $ADX rewards. You can also earn additional yield by locking your stake for a longer time period. Check out our [Staking Page](https://docs.adrena.xyz/about-adrena/staking) for a detailed breakdown of the locking tiers for boosted rewards.

### **Referral**

You can also earn by referring traders to the platform. When a referred trader pays trading fees, you will receive **10% of their fees** as a reward.

For more information on eligibility, tracking, and payout schedules, please refer to [Referral System](/adrena/about-adrena/referral-system.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://adrena.gitbook.io/adrena/about-adrena/fees/ways-to-earn-overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
